Biography

Throughout his 32-year legal career, Philip Lengle has exclusively devoted his practice to family law. Phil is a compassionate and effective advocate for his clients and is equally adept at negotiation and litigation.

Phil has a superb rating of 10.0/10.0 from AVVO, a distinguished rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and has been peer-selected after a rigorous nomination and voting process as a Leading Lawyer in the practice area of Family Law by Leading Lawyers every year since 2012, a distinction awarded to only the top 5% of attorneys practicing in the state of Illinois.

In addition to his representation of divorce, custody and paternity clients, Phil frequently serves as a court appointed Guardian ad Litem and mediator in contested cases. He served as the chairman of the Kane County Bar Association Family Law Committee from 2012-2015.

Phil is a frequent presenter on a variety of topics at family law seminars. He has also taught a number of classes and seminars for other attorneys and mental health professionals on topics such as divorce; custody and visitation; ethics; divorce mediation and adoption, guardianship, and visitation of grandchildren.
